It is an island of very recent formation, and one of the youngest islands of the archipelago. It is located in the western part of Galapagos, and separated from its neighbor, the nearby Isabela Island. In terms of surface, it is the third in size of all the islands.
We live in one of the largest and best preserved archipelagos on the planet. For this reason, we believe that Galapagos is an emblematic place of the world because of its unique species, its wonderful islands, and its beautiful attraction sites.
Galapagos’ animals are unique in the world; this is due to the environment that surrounds them. This exotic wildlife can only be admired in this particular group of enchanted islands located in the Pacific Ocean.
Different national and international organizations carry out monitoring of the flora and fauna of the Enchanted Islands.
Kirsten Galliot, editor of Qantas magazine, describes Galapagos Islands as “one of most idyllic places in the world for its unique volcanic landscapes inhabited by a large quantity of endemic animals”.
