One billion subscribers of the company Tencent (leader in Internet services and social networks We Chat and QQ in China) will know the charms of the Galapagos Islands through live transmissions.

The initiative, called Project QQ X, seeks to spread the most enchanting places on the planet. In this context, Galapagos has been chosen as the only destination in Latin America, followed by Africa and Antarctica.

Alfonso Tandazo, representative of Surtrek, a tourism and social operator of Tencent in Ecuador, reported that during the five-day tour of the archipelago, there will be 45 minutes of live transmission, space in which the followers of the Asian giant will be able to appreciate the experiences of The Chinese delegation in a beautiful environment of flora, fauna and landscapes characteristic of the Enchanted Islands.

The director of Pro Ecuador, Silvana Vallejo, believes that this project will have a high tourism impact, as it will allow millions of young Chinese to know the benefits of Ecuador and motivate their acquaintances to visit the country.
