Different national and international organizations carry out monitoring of the flora and fauna of the Enchanted Islands. The main objectives of these preventive measures are strengthening the ecotourism in Galapagos, conserving nature, and improving the living conditions of the island’s population. In this regard, some organizations are working together with the same general objectives. For example, the Galapagos National Park Service, the Galapagos Conservation Fund, The Tourism Observatory of Galapagos, the World Wildlife Found, and the Institute for Applied Ecology. The local tour operators point out that these supervision and control measures have helped, in one way or another, to protect the natural wealth of the Galapagos Islands and the strengthening of the tourism industry. Despite the difficult economic situation of Ecuador, Galapagos continue to be an important tourism destination. The variety of activities in Galapagos is wide e.g. land activities such as hiking, trekking, and walking, but also sea activities such as snorkeling, rowing, swimming, and more. In this regard, Fragata Yacht is a great option if you want to do all the activities mentioned above at a very affordable price.
